A book by the iconic photographer and our personal friend, Olaf Heine.

"The entire universe is made of curves," once said Oscar Niemeyer, Brazil’s legendary architect. Olaf Heine, the renowned portrait and fashion photographer, met Niemeyer shortly before his death. Since 2010, Heine has been exploring the soul of Brazil, capturing its sensual joie de vivre with remarkable sensitivity to form and texture.

In his newly revised photo book Brazil, Heine juxtaposes the curves of Brazil’s landscapes and architecture with those of its people, including surfers, dancers, and strikingly beautiful women. He intentionally avoids the stereotypical colors often associated with Brazil, offering instead a fresh black & white perspective on the country.
